SUSTAINABILITY
Tosama demonstrates our responsibility and dedication to sustainable development through a range of ongoing initiatives
Responsability
and dedication
Menstruation is a natural physiological process – an essential part of body’s normal biological functioning, just like breathing or a heartbeat. It’s not a choice.
That is why at Tosama, we are committed to making hygienic menstrual products freely available in the restrooms of public institutions – just like soap and toilet paper.
Our goal is to ensure access to high-quality pads and tampons and help fight the growing issue of period poverty.
PROJECT
In 2023, we launched a major initiative called For Women’s Health to bring this idea to life in Slovenia. The project focuses on two key areas:
• We donated menstrual products to 100 primary schools for the entire school year and worked with students to raise awareness about the importance of intimate hygiene and how to care for their intimate health.
• For companies and institutions, we developed a dispenser for pads and tampons, giving employees access to free, high-quality period products.
Our QUALITY
At Tosama,
we understand that producing and selling quality hygiene products alone is not enough for society to truly grasp how widespread the problem of inadequate menstrual care is.
That is why we spread expert knowledge among young people, raise awareness about the importance of safe, natural hygiene products, and provide companies and institutions with our dispenser – so they can actively support the women in their communities.
